In this continuum, the pass mark of matriculation is set at 32.5. From 1858 to 1861, the pass mark was 32.5. In 1862 it was increased to 33 for the benefit of enumeration. From that, it's running on 33.In the age of federal Pakistan, it was running on that's why in Bangladesh this system has run.
At that time in Britain, the pass mark for local students was 65. There was a prevailing idea in English society at that time, 'The people of Subcontinent are half as intellectual and efficient as compared to the British.
